Day 9, 11/1/2017  Fourth Sea day to Bermuda

Throughout the day the seas got calmer and movement around the ship restored, beginning with art - using watercolour coloured pencils to produce a flower picture.  I gathered up everything I'd missed yesterday too - book mark equipment and a copy of a palm tree seascape.  No opportunity to paint that yet, because I wanted to try a rough sea first, not particularly successfully, although the sky wasn't too bad.

In singing we reviewed all of our songs so far and added There's no Business Like Show Business and (over shoulder)
Our concert might include any of the following
Lightning Tree
Food Glorious Food
Danny boy/You Raise me up
Feelings/My funny Valentine
Bye bye Love
You are my Sunhine
Sunrise sunset
The rose
Let it Be
Do You Hear the People Sing
There's no business like Show Business
Annie's song

Our evening meal was from the Marco Pierre White menu and it was absolutely delicious.  Melon Crown with mango sorbet, Seafood bisque, pork loin and pork belly with chicken scratchings (crackling), Blueberry souffle with clotted cream ice cream and a hot berry sauce, Peppermint creams and coffees/teas.   We shared it with a couple from West Yorkshire Brenda and Peter, who have been cruising for 20 years.  Service was slower and it meant we missed the Soul singer Phinestra who had done the Aretha tribute earlier in the week

When we got back to the cabin our broken suitcase reappeared with a new handle.  And a very nice new handle too.

Overnight we went to GMT-4.
